Woman owned Business Entity:

Is an independent business concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women who are U.S. citizens or Legal Resident Aliens; whose business formation and principal place of business are in the U.S.


Minority owned Business Entity:

United States citizens. Minority businesses must be at least 51% minority-owned operated and controlled.


Targeted Business Group:

To be certified as a Targeted Group small business, the business must be at least 51 percent owned by a woman, racial minority, or person with a substantial physical disability. Also the business must be operated and controlled on a day-to-day as well as long term basis by the qualifying owner.

North Central Minority Supplier Developement Council

The North Central Minority Supplier Development Council (NCMSDC) helps connect minority-owned businesses and corporations throughout the Midwest region in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, and Iowa. It promotes an exchange of information between corporate members and Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) to ensure proper partnering, fit and cooperation. The NCMSDC is one of 24 regional councils of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) in New York, NY and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
